Volunteering with The Kent Wildlife Trust
29th March 2023
As well as working hard on our own gardens and allotment, our students are also volunteering with The Kent Wildlife Trust at their heathland sites in Hothfield.
Students from KS3 and 4 have been tree popping, hedge laying, and learning about why our heathlands need protecting. The Kent Wildlife Trust Wardens have given us a wonderfully warm welcome, and we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you for their time and patience, and for getting our students involved. We’re hoping to make this a regular monthly session – we can’t wait!
